Jobeda Ali After graduating from Trinity College Cambridge, Jobeda spent 12 years in the public sectors initiating new educational and enterprise projects. Jobeda has utilised her specialism in pedagogy and entrepreneurship throughout her media career. Jobeda entered the media world in 2003 and produced and presented several documentaries. In 2004, she completed her Masters in World Trade and Development. Although she wanted to tell stories about trade justice, education and development, she was instead expected to her to only tackle issues about Asian women. Feeling it was unfair to be limited to one subject, she established Fair Knowledge in 2007, a company that specialises in nurturing and promoting fresh new voices from usually marginalised communities and promoting them to mainstream audiences. That year, Jobeda was one of 20  women from across the world to be selected as a “Rising Talent” by the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society. Read more about Fair Knowledge here.
