The final output of all this will be to bundle up the film and strategic map
into a toolbox for strategic planning beyond 2010 that will be available to all contributors on the day.
We have also gathered a number of quite outstanding contributors - a 'one stop' shop’ of world renowned sustainability thinkers such as Fritjof Capra (Founder
of the Center for Ecoliteracy in Berkeley), Hazel Henderson, Hunter Lovins (Co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Institute and Natural Capitalism), Dianne Dillon-Ridgley, Polly Higgins, Tony Manwaring, Sophia Tickell and John Elkington to name but a few – injecting into the conversation the latest thinking going well beyond climate change and Copenhagen, to exploring the changing paradigms that are conspiring to shape a new future.
To inspire and inform the conversation, we’ve also found some extraordinary documentary film, showing what is actually happening out there in the front line and the latest ideas in product and service innovation.
This is a special opportunity for you or your team to receive a high quality, one day download of latest thinking and emerging practice which will impact on future business success.
We have designed the event with corporates in mind and accordingly will be looking to host a relevant, focused programme that still allows for maximum cross-pollination and outcomes that can be shared with the wider team back at the office.
We have a group rate booking for corporate teams available. If you would like to find out more, please get in touch.
Sincerely,

...for a day of inspirational speakers, films and workshops
The goal of the day: a strategic vision of ‘Ecotopia’.
CREATING A SHARED STRATEGIC VISION OF A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE CINEFORUM: THE ROAD TO ECOTOPIA, Friday the 4th in London.
This Cineforum is a response to the perfect storm we seem to be facing. Values are shifting, new regulatory frameworks are being defined and disruptive changes in the business environment are conspiring to create unprecedented change.
Our solution has been to put together a unique one-day ‘collaboratory’ of the best thinkers, mavericks, strategists, scientists and pioneers we could find, and spend a day synthesising this collective brainpower into a shared strategic vision of the future we want, benefiting all contributors - a high quality, one day download of the latest thinking and emerging practice.
We very much hope you will be able to join us.
To assist us, we have partnered with the team from Tomorrow’s Company and Bill Becker from the Presidential Climate Action Plan – who impressed on us the need for professional changemakers to create a positive collective vision, similar to the ‘Autotopia’ and ‘Futurama’ visions that became a blueprint for 20th century America.
Our goal is to share this collective vision far and wide; starting with taking the results to the climate conference in Copenhagen, to be shared as a film, “Ecotopia.”
We will also be creating a strategic map of the next 10-20 years – which will detail the specific pathways available, informing decision making by identifying both the opportunity areas and barriers to creating a positive and sustainable future. This will be curated on a giant wall which will capture the future we want to build, the questions we need to resolve and the barriers to making it happen.
