Bringing fringe voices into the knowledge economy
Cineforums
The Cineforums are our flagship events that bring together fringe voices and emerging experts with established mainstream leaders. These events promote and nurture diverse perspectives and enable participants to create their own social and intellectual spaces based on personal (as opposed to perceived) aspirations and talents.
Emerging entrepreneurs, inventors, filmmakers, businesspeople, policy leaders and other aspirants to mainstream visibility have the opportunity to meet, impress, educate and pitch to those with influence within mainstream institutions.
Cineforum 1 was about Muslim Women: Visibility and Leadership and promoted the critical role of Muslim women’s leadership for achieving peace on a global scale.
Cineforum 2 was Climate Change: The Road to Ecotopia and it bought together a diverse network of leaders and practitioners in the positive futures sector.
Cineforum 3 will be on Space: Science and Society - as well as encouraging more fringe voices to enter this challenging sector, we’ll also explore how space science can enhance society.
